Description

The CA-51 works pointed either way. FX potted the whole interior, so water has no path in no matter how the fixture sits, which means the same unit can uplight a trunk from the bed or mount under an eave and throw light down.

This build pairs the wide flood optic at 60 degrees with the ZD MR-16 lamp at 3000K. The wide spread covers a wall section or a broad canopy rather than picking out one target, and the 45 degree angled shield keeps the source out of view.

The ZD lamp is the reason to pick this build. The CA-51 has no control option of its own, so the zoning and dimming sit inside the lamp. Paired with a Luxor controller it joins a zone and dims in one percent steps. On an ordinary transformer it simply lights, with none of that.

  • Solid brass body with black oxide stainless steel hardware
  • Fully potted inside, works in any orientation
  • Up or down mounting from the same fixture
  • ZD MR-16 lamp included, 3000K soft white
  • 60 degree wide flood with 45 degree angled glare shield
  • Zoning and dimming through a Luxor controller
  • Compress and lock aiming, 9 degree steps across 220 degrees vertical
  • MR-16 GU5.3 socket with retaining clips
