Description

The FX Luminaire MD is a die-cast aluminum down light made for mounting on walls, eaves and tree limbs, and this version comes in Bronze Metallic with the standard angled shroud and a 20 watt halogen equivalent MR-16 LED lamp in 2700K warm white with a flood beam. It puts out 230 to 290 lumens on just 4.3 VA, a gentle level suited to lighting steps, seating areas and garden beds from above without overpowering them. Because it is built only for downward aiming, the shield cover and knuckle are designed to keep rain and irrigation spray out of the housing, and the angled shroud keeps the lamp out of sight from below. The MD shares its look with the FX MU up light, so a job can use matching fixtures for both up and down lighting, and ProAim adjustability lets the head be aimed and locked after mounting. It runs on 10V to 15V with phase dimming and Luxor zoning, and ships with a clear lens and a 10 foot lead.
